How did it happened? Simple answer, total tactical failure
Don't know if u can call it brave, naive or even stupid
But how can a team a nation so rich in football
Become so over rely on just one player (Neymar) is beyond me
Today Brazil played without injured Neymar & they are clueless up front
Their defensive line is without suspended captain Thiago Silva
& it's as if they forgotten how to defend all together...
This is exactly why they should play counter attacking football against Germany
Not same old all out attack...they can't afford to do that
Especially when they have no reliable strikers up front
& the fact that their defender has the habits of running too up front
They tend to run out of their own position leaving big space at the back
That's why it's a big no no for them to even consider retaining the same game plan
From previous matches, yet they still do it anyway...
So this is exactly what happened...they insist on playing offensive football
& it seems to work for the opening 10 mints
But as soon as Mueller's goal went in on the 11th mints
U can sense what kind of night it's going to be
& Brazil not learning their lesson continues to play offensive football
Even though they have no idea what to do with the ball
Once they're near Germans's penalty area...
Their defenders as predicted played too far out of position
Leaving big pile of space in the back & Germany caught them off guard
in the space of just 179 seconds, it was 4-0
& on the half hour mark it was than 5-0...Game set & over
This what happened when u don't have the resource to play attacking football
Yet u still do so anyway
7-1 maybe a shock result
But if u look at just how naive & at time stupid Brazil's tactics was
U'll understand why they got slaughtered by the Germans...
The scoreline reflect the different level of class both team currently at
It also show just how important tactics really are for a game at this high level of football
Germany was just overall the better side tonight, players wise & tactical wise...
& congrats to Miroslav Klose on breaking Ronaldo's all time goal scoring record
The all time goal score record now stands at 16, & Klose is the proud holder of it
Germany through to yet another World Cup Final
& will be awaiting the winner of the Argentina, Netherlands match

Argentina & Netherlands...
Both side have make it so far through topping their groups respectively
Argentina beat Bosnia 2-1 in the opening group match
& ensured qualification for the last 16 through Messi's last mints goal
That saw them see off Iran 1-0 on match day 2
They finishes out their group matches with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Nigeria
Argentinians would go on to beat tough side Switzerland 1-0 on extra time
Thanks to Angel Di Marie's 118th mints extra time goal
& through early Gabriel Higuain's early & what prove to be the match only goal
Argentina eliminated dark horse Belgium in the Quarter Final stage
Thus reaching the Semi-Final, their nation first Semi-Final appearance in over 24years
The nation last appeared in the Semi-Final stage of a World Cup was back in 1990
Argentina will be missing injured Di Marie for the Semi-Final match
But will welcome back striker Sergio Aguero for the Semi-Final clash with the dutch
Meaning Lavezzi could be drop from the starting lineup
With "Kun" Aguero replacing him in the left wing with Higuain in the center
& Messi on the right forming a terrifying trio attacking front line
Although it's seems like an all star lineup up front it's not the same case for their back line
As Argentina will need to be worry about their defensive line as goalkeeper Romero
It's not on the best of form lately & his shaky performance against Switzerland
Will serve as confidence boost for the Dutch's
Attacking duo of Robin Van Persie & Arjen Robben
Argentina for this match will likely play their usual passing game
Seeking for chances at breaking through the Dutch's defense
Thus Argentina will probably make only 2 changes from their 1-0 win over Belgium

Opening day shocking turnaround against World Champion Spain
Was just an indication of what to come for the flying dutch men World Cup campaign
RVP's flying header not just equalized the score for Netherlands but turn the game around
Netherlands eventually ran out 5-1 winner on the day
They needed another turnaround on match day two when they quickly throw away a 1-0 lead
& before u know it, they were down 2-1 thanks to a penalty goal from the Australians
But Netherlands through Robben & Van Persie's combination were able to turn it around again
Dutch won 3-2 on the day, ensuring a spot in the last 16 & sent the Australians packing as well
On the final group match Netherlands beat Chile 2-0 to ensure top of the group position
Despite the suspension of on form striker Robin Van Persie
Netherlands completed yet another miracles comeback in the Round of 16
When Sneijder's 88th mints goal helped them equalized against stubborn Mexico
Before Robben earned them a controversial penalty kick in the stoppage time
Substitute striker Klass Jan Huntelaar would than stepped up to score for the Dutch
Completing the comeback & in doing so knockout Mexico 2-1
In the Quarter Final Netherlands faces yet another stubborn side in Costa Rica
& through 2 hours of exhausting football the score remains 0-0
Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal's surprise substitute would than proved to be the difference
Second choice goalkeeper Tim Krul was called upon the penalty shootout
& Krul miraculously guessed all the direction of the Costa Rica penalty kick right
& in doing so saved two of them while dutch player scored all 4 of their penalty kick
Thus securing a spot for the Semi-Final stage.
Going into the clash with the Argentinians,
Netherlands will be without injured De Jong & Fer
But the rest will be fully fit & ready for Argentina
Only worry for the Dutch will be the stability of their shaky defensive line
having kept just 2 clean sheet in 5 matches in this year tournament
While the form of striker Robin Van Persie will be one of the main concern as well
RVP hasn't been the same since missing out the last group match against Chile
He was replaced in the Round of 16 clash for lack of effort
& was again off form against Costa Rico in the Quarter Final
Missing two glorious opportunity to put the Dutch ahead
Though he did made it up by scoring first in the penalty shootout
Veteran Kuyt & Sneijder form will be critical for Dutch side as well
& all eyes will surely be on Netherlands's controversial player Arjen Robben
As he will surely be the difference maker should Netherlands beat Argentina
Striker Lens & second choice center forward Klass Jan Huntelaar will likely be on the bench
As will penalty shootout hero Tim Krul
Despite his brave effort in the Quarter Final shootout Krul will likely still be on the bench
Waiting to see if he is needed for the shootout again
While first choice goalkeeper Cillessen will most likely retain his starting spot for the Dutch
Dutch going into this match will be as cautious as their last game with Costa Rica
They will be wanting more of the ball & possession just to make it up for their shaky defense
Look for this Semi-Final tie to be as cagey as possible
& this one has high possibility of going into extra time & even penalty shootout
Don't expect this one to be filled with goals as unlike the Brazil Vs Germany match
Both side will go into this match evenly match & what u can expect to see
it's a rather tight game of football
So tight that maybe just one mistake & one goal could settle it all
