Review: Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice

What will happen when you are more concern about building a movie universe

Than telling an epic story about the man of steel & dark knight?

You'll get a film more about giving information rather than being an actual movie...

For me, that's what happened to Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

For me, this film shouldn't be called Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice

It should just be call Dawn Of Justice or Dawn Of The Justice League etc.

If you want great epic action than this film has it just too little

If you are familiar with the world of DC than this IS the film for you

But if you are not, than this film is probably not for you

This film focuses more on throwing a bunch of "easter eggs" information to your face

Unless you are a fan of DC comics you will mostly missed most of them

Zack Snyder, the director of this film & the Man Of Steel movie...well all I can say about him is that

He is great in terms of shooting beautiful & epic scene but not so much on story telling

Like I said above,

This film worried so much on "world building" they rushed several story-lines together

Several story-lines that otherwise are great material for their own separate film

Story-line like Injustice, Death of Superman etc. kinda either teased or wasted for the sake of this film

The rushed & IMO lazy introduction of the Justice League was very lackluster

Ben Affleck is truly one of the best performer of this film

His portray of Batman & his alter ego Bruce Wayne is truly phenomenal

But how they changed the no kills moral code of Batman really irate me

Gal Gadot for her role as Wonder Woman & with the limited screen time given is great as well

But the one actor that stole the movie for me, it's without a shadow of doubt Jeremy Irons

Irons's Alfred Pennyworth was the definition of humor mixed with some serious sarcasm

You can feel even with his sarcasm towards Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne,

Deeps down he still cares for him & only wants the best for him

In the end, IMO this is overall a messy film filled with some awesome fight scene，

Lots of cool easter eggs & tease for the upcoming Justice League film,

Therefore this film is more for the fans than casual audience

So if you are long time fans of not just Batman or Superman but the DC Comics as whole

You will probably enjoyed this movie even more than casual movie goers

The movie started slow but all the eventual fight sequences will worth the wait, I guarantees it!
